facilitating learning & teaching innovation, research & public engagement, discussion & collaboration
regarding scientific developments & social change

A portal to social media or other projects that extend beyond the programs of study of the Science in a Changing World graduate track at the University of Massachusetts Boston. Each visitor can choose their own level of involvement—from irregular visits to the links below perusing what others have posted to signing up for a project and receiving email notification of every change.
The ideal for contributors is to extend the experiences that we value in face-to-face and person-to-person interactions and foster interactions that hadn't been happening off-line. To this end, we should:
  • articulate and affirm our personal and professional aspirations, including our desire to build supportive communities for our efforts.
  • provide resources to stimulate and advance projects about scientific and social change that "facilitate learning and teaching innovation, research and public engagement, discussion and collaboration."
  • spark other kinds of generative that some of us hadn't anticipated.
